Standard Shipping Vessel (SSV) Forger in orbit around Ossirius Minor, awaiting its latest cargo delivery. Pilot and captain Don Creighton is the only person on board.
When the planet-side delivery vessel turns out to be an Ossirian intelligence ship, Creighton gets curious...and discovers his cargo isn't at all what he expected. Someone is out to get him; but who is it? And why? Is it because he recently became part-owner of the Forger?
The Shareholder, a five-thousand word short story, weaves a tense science fiction tale of intrigue and suspense as Creighton fights to save his ship, his life and his future.
